As our summer heats up, it is wonderful to see things start to return to normal in our community.

Everything starts from our motivation to care. As we continue reaching out to one another, providing services, supporting, and fulfilling needs, our community begins the long process of exiting the last fourteen months of the pandemic. We will proceed with the same level of care and compassion maintained throughout all our work, but especially witnessed in the pandemic. At RE/MAX of Hot Springs Village, we continue to support and participate in active community engagements that involve growth and nurturing support. Here are our efforts:

Arkansas Heritage Festival – Main stage sponsor for Arkansas Heritage Festival in August. The Arkansas Heritage Festival is a FREE two-day event held at the Ponce DeLeon Center in Hot Springs Village and will feature all things Arkansas.

Cedar Mountain Boys and Girls Club – We sponsored an ice cream booth for the August car show, as well as being a Presenting Sponsor for the Cedar Mountain Club Benefit Concert in September.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Saline County website states: “BGCA has implemented the programmatic strategy Every Member, Every Year, designed so that all clubs, no matter their size or resources, can partner with youth, parents, schools, and other community stakeholders to implement at least 1 of 3 approaches: academic enrichment and school engagement; targeted dropout prevention; and intensive intervention and case management. Our aim is to ensure that all club members graduate from high school on time, ready for a post-secondary education and a 21st-century career.”

Great Futures – Sponsored an ice cream sundae booth At the Great Futures annual celebration. Great Futures, part of the Boys and Girls Club of Cedar Mountain, is a Child Care Center in Hot Springs Village, AR, with a maximum capacity of 83 children. This childcare center helps with children in the age ranges of Infant/Toddler, Preschool, and School Age.

Junior Golf League – Provided water to the Junior Golf League. RE/MAX of Hot Springs Village proudly supports the Junior Golf League which provides youngsters with the right start to a great game—a game that lasts a lifetime. This volunteer-run program teaches the basics of golf including rules, etiquette, proper attire, and playing fundamentals. This year over 200 participants learned the game of golf.

Symphony GuildCorporate sponsor for the Symphony Guild—providing support for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and promoting music education in schools located in Garland County while helping students master their craft. The Guild is undeniably the largest philanthropic organization focused specifically on promoting music education in our local schools.

United Way – Home sponsor at United Way Golf Tournament. United Way of the Ouachitas is the bridge that connects the business community to the non-profit world of social services, governmental bodies, and educational institutions. Our outreach throughout the community engages all individuals willing to pitch in and help improve lives and build a better community.

In ordinary times, we see the Hot Springs Village community going to great lengths to serve one another. These have not been ordinary times. Over the past few months, we have seen them do extraordinary things—pivoting operations to serve new needs—even as they themselves, like all of us, faced great adversity and uncertainty. RE/MAX of Hot Springs Village continues to further its reach of support to the community, even as things seem to be lulling into more of a routine.
