RE/MAX of Hot Springs Village believes supporting community organizations and non-profits is vital. From funding to leadership, volunteering, and public awareness, we are honored to be a part of and support all that Hot Springs Village encompasses.
As we roll around to another spring under quarantine, we reflect on how things have changed, and how we have pushed through some difficult times and come through the other side better, stronger, and more hopeful. Amid the COVID-19 crisis, supporting our local communities is essential during these challenging times. Even in the era of social distancing, we can still connect with our neighbors and offer support to those in need. Here are several ways we are supporting our communities that we hope will be helpful for your own local efforts:
Cedar Mountain Boys and Girls Club –We are in the organizational phase of our April 17th Shred it Event to benefit the local Club. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Saline County website states: “BGCA has implemented the programmatic strategy Every Member, Every Year, designed so that all clubs, no matter their size or resources, can partner with youth, parents, schools, and other community stakeholders to implement at least 1 of 3 approaches: academic enrichment and school engagement; targeted dropout prevention; and intensive intervention and case management. Our aim is to ensure that all club members graduate from high school on time, ready for a post-secondary education and a 21st-century career.”
Village Walk for Cancer Research – February has us gearing up with plenty of pre- meetings as we partner with the Rotary Club of HSV this year. We are establishing a new website, new documents and forms, and more.
Arkansas Learning Through the Arts – This year we sponsored an ad in the school journals to benefit Jessieville, Fountain Lake, and Mountain Pine School Districts.
HSVTV – With much enthusiasm, we ranked as the top ad sponsor for the local Chamber of Commerce video production of the new HSVPOA board candidate interviews.
Rest assured that any support, no matter how big or small, you can offer to organizations and groups at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 is positive and impactful. In this critical moment, our communities need us to create change in ways that are both innovative and equitable.
