We strive to be a positive force in the communities we serve. It is our highest priority to actively participate in the events and efforts that help shape and improve where our employees live, work, and raise their families. Here are our April efforts:

Cedar Mountain Boys and Girls Club – We sponsored beverages for the May Gala. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Saline County website states: “BGCA has implemented the programmatic strategy Every Member, Every Year, designed so that all clubs, no matter their size or resources, can partner with youth, parents, schools, and other community stakeholders to implement at least 1 of 3 approaches: academic enrichment and school engagement; targeted dropout prevention; and intensive intervention and case management. Our aim is to ensure that all club members graduate from high school on time, ready for a post-secondary education and a 21st-century career.”

The April 17 “Shred It” event to benefit the Boys and Girls Club was a success! We were able to raise $2,000 in support of our local club.

HSV Fire Department – We donated another 10 smoke detectors to continue aide in their efforts to check, replace batteries, or install new smoke alarms in Hot Springs Village homes where the individuals are not physically able to do it themselves.

HSV Players – Sponsored the upcoming season of the Hot Springs Village Players. Established in June of 1978, the “Village Players” had a goal to organize and promote amateur theater in Hot Springs Village. Over 42 years later that goal and many others have been realized. We have evolved into “Hot Springs Village Players” and have grown in membership from 16 to 120 members, produced more than 140 plays and musicals, and we’re still going strong.

Village Walk for Cancer Research – RE/MAX made the initial contribution to start the Community Foundation Endowment on behalf of the Walk.

Jessieville School District – Sponsorship of the Jessieville Yearbook. The Jessieville Yearbook, The Lion, covers pre-k through senior year and the adults on campus. As a community resource, it also serves as a historical record by recording the people involved in the school, the records of the various athletic teams, members of the numerous clubs, and the trends that take place during the years. The Lion is produced by Journalism 1 – 4 students and is funded entirely through advertising, photo, and subscription sales.

Hot Springs Village Board of Realtors – RE/MAX was year’s Business Expo HSV Board of Realtors Booth door prize sponsor. The Business Expo brings together businesses, non-profits, and many more movers-and-shakers to present their products and services to this dynamic region encompassing the entire Hot Springs Village and surrounding areas.

As always, it is important to remain connected to our community and nurture that sense of belonging. RE/MAX of Hot Springs Village continues to reach out and touch the lives in our community.
