We seek to create value in our communities, by strengthening them through local programs and events that help them thrive. We support and invest in our community through local giving, encouraging volunteerism, and through programs to strengthen community cohesion. REMAX of Hot Springs Village believes in doing our best to support our community no matter where it is needed. Here are our October efforts:
Great Futures Daycare – Sponsored the Trunk or Treat ice cream booth. Great Futures is a Child Care Center in Hot Springs Village, AR, with a maximum capacity of 83 children. This childcare center helps with children in the age range of Infant/Toddler, Preschool, and School Age. The provider also participates in a subsidized childcare program.

Habitat for Humanity – We were the Hammer to Heels event donut sponsor for the October build. Over 150 women came together to build two houses, side by side, for two deserving families in our community! From swinging a hammer…to landscaping a yard…to painting a room, this event encourages women of all skill levels to participate in building a Habitat for Humanity home. In addition to helping two deserving families receive homes, this event provides women a sense of comradery and team-building opportunities. (Yes, men are welcome too!)

HSV Razorback Club – 32nd annual golf tournament sponsor. The Hot Springs Village Razorback Club is a group of rabid Hog Fans that meets throughout the year to support our beloved Arkansas Razorbacks.

Lady Duffer Golf League – Hole sponsor. Forty women signed up to play in the 1975 season and membership continued to grow as more women discovered that golf without pressure was fun. Today, we have over 100 members, and we play nine holes of golf every Wednesday morning.

HSV Community Foundation – Pre-concert dinner sponsor for the 15th annual benefit show concert featuring The Boys of D3.Hot Springs Village Community Foundation, started in 1983 to help meet the needs in Hot Springs Village, has been instrumental in promoting the arts in Hot Springs Village, outfitting the community library, and granting scholarships to area youth.

Mid America Science Museum – Dino Lights sponsor. The mission of Mid-America Science Museum is to stimulate interest in science, to promote public understanding of the sciences, and to encourage life-long science education through interactive exhibits and programs.

Village Walk for Cancer Research – Sponsored the Shred-It event. The Village Walk for Cancer Research started in 2002 as the Midge Bates Walk. Each year we dedicate and honor a person who is a cancer survivor and honor the memory of a person who lost their life to cancer. Our Mission: To increase awareness and raise funds for cancer research at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at UAMS. Proceeds support cancer research and cancer related projects in our community.
At REMAX we support the community we care about. Our commitment to building healthier, stronger communities is reflected in how we give back to our communities and to one another.
